Smallest static mixer for Pilot Plants

PRIMIX has supplied one of its smallest static mixers to a system integrator in the petrochemical industry for use in a pilot plant.

The mixer has an internal diameter of 3.5mm and is supplied with an ATEX Ex II 2DG certificate. Following this application, a case study sheet has been developed where the use of static mixers in pilot plant and R&D setups is explained.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In the case study sheet the challenges and specific design characteristics of small static mixers are being discussed. Furthermore it explains why static mixer are suitable for use in scalable chemical / petrochemical processes. It also refers to other applications that include pilot plant applications in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic industry and in water treatment.
